There hasn’t been much posting recently, in case you didn’t notice.

It’s been rather busy, but good. I’m at that point though, where I start to feel like it’s time for a break. Thankfully the Spring pilgrimage to Mum and Dad’s in Cornwall is only two weeks away….

St. Ives..! Again?! Pah! -Well, I’m going there this Saturday for a week. So. There.
Ahh. You can’t beat it can you, NP… there’s nothing quite like the smell of the dishwasher in The Sloop to get you up in the morning… or the man by the lifeboat station who does the boat-trips to Seal Island – he has the BEST beard I have EVER seen… (surely there’s a folk song about it?)
    I love it. Enjoy! πŸ™‚

    You’re not wrong, my friend.
We’re actually staying on The Digey (again) and meeting some mates down there. They’ve never been to St. Ives before. My missus has LITERALLY just got off the phone to them: “…There’s this fab cafe right by where we’re staying. They do an ace breakfast and just the best cheese in the world..!” So, I guess it’s official then.
My recommendation is The Gurnards Head if you haven’t already tried it. Great beer, excellent food and well worth the short drive out. Some good (ie. tasteful) art work in there too if you’re into that side of things.
This time tomorrow I imagine I’ll be sampling the Easter beer festival at The Castle on Fore Street. Never been before. Hope it’s not too messy… I’ll let you know…
…Right, I better go and pack me bag!
    (very excited indeed) πŸ˜€
