Top_bourbon The thing about stereotypes is that they’re usually right. Yorkshire Trading Standards have found that measures of beer and spirits usually fall short, proving Northern England’s legendary reputation for meanness.

The shining exception was Leeds, where the problem is over pouring. This isn’t why I live there, honest.

    True, but then again you pay about 80p less per drink up here.
    Also, the east midlands idea of a beer involves less head than a sliced chicken…which is never good!

    True. Beer in the Midlands is uniformly rubbish. Anyway, what do I care, I live in Leeds where it’s cheap and they pour you too much too. I’m laughing (drunkenly).
