100_0991This is silly. For the love of God, will someone give Rob Mortimer a planning job! If you haven’t seen his blog by now, then shame on you, although you’ll have seen his comments enriching other blogs with useful stuff (he’s generous too). Hire him now, espescially if your outside Yorkshire, before he exposes my own shortcomings and steals my job.

Rob, if you want to meet up, we can discuss some stuff you may like to do for some kind of planning portfolio (although I can’t imagine anything more useful that your blog).

    Haha!
I don’t think i’ve ever gone so red from a blog post!!
The picture was genius I might add.
I was talking to James Boardwell(planner, also in Sheffield) about us three meeting for a drink somewhere soon. A kind of Northern Planning meeting. We could even say it’s named after your blog if you like!
Any advice you can give is much appreciated, and the post is very generous! Thanks 🙂

Rob, let’s do it. Give us a date and time, I’m around Sheffield quite a lot these days. Anyone else interested?
Thought you might like to brief some creatives on some speculative briefs, and see how the work pans out.
We’ll discuss this amongst other stuff if you want. It will also meen that Stu and I can nick some of your thoughts (see above;))
By the way, are you going to see Russell tomorrow?

Most evenings are fine, if it’s lunchtime it would be good to avoid Mondays and Tuesdays

Not likely to be lunchtime, as it would take most of my lunch to get to town!
Probably be a Thursday or Friday evening at beginning of August…ill see what James says.

I totally agree with all this praise for Rob, and not because we share the same christian name, but because he is soddin’ great.
OK, the name thing does help!
