Next northern planning summit is in Leeds January 18th.

It’s at Arts Cafe and we’ll have grown a bit. 7 While everyone else is having coffee, we may indulge in something a bit stronger. Simon Griffin from Love in Manchester will be joining us, which may mean an expedition over the pennines in the near future, it’s only fair. I’ll be looking forward to grilling him about Yorkshire Tea.

JamesB may be staying at mine. Don’t know what he’s expecting (although there is vague mention of full English), the first time we met ended up sleeping in his own garden. We haven’t put the tent away from summer yet, might not bother now just in case.

    I know this is cheeky but our ridculously brilliant planner, Bazza [21 years old and already smarter than all of us combined! Bastard] could well be in Leeds on the date of your ‘drinking session’.
    Soooooooo, I am asking if it would be at all poss if he can pop along and say ‘Hi’!
    He’s a lovely bloke, isn’t frightened of getting the drinks in and is far nicer, intelligent and less opinionated than me. Or Andy.
    If it’s not poss, please just say, I understand … and to be fair, I am not sure he can definitely make it … but if all the moons are in allignment, can he meet some ‘Northeners’?
    [He’s South African – but a lovely one – and he thinks I’m about as Northern as you can get in the UK! Hmmmmn, not so smart afterall eh!]

    Of course, the whole point of the night is to get as many intelligent people in as possible. The more the merrier.
    It will be in the arts cafe, or if he posts here im sure we could meet him at the train station (where ill be at first prob) or somewhere.

    Cool – I’ll find out his plans and if it’s all looking good, I’ll pop some sterling in his wallet [as well as a camera for ‘evidence’ he actually turned up, ha!] and you can all have a nice sing-song/rant/banter/laugh at our expence, ha!
