On the drive in this morning I played an old compilation tape. It included these four, in this order. it felt really, really good.

NEVER EVER EVER slag off Queen! Please.

I stand by my abiding hate of Queen, but each to their own. Never mentioning them again will be a pleasure.

It’s an illness I have – I’ve followed them round the World [literally] and seen them about 80 times. If it’s any consolation, I’ve also followed Bowie – but the damage is probably already done isn’t it.
