I’m pretty good at one or two things. I can swim well, touch my nose with my tongue and stuff. So why on earth am I such a complete fool in othere areas? Why is it I can hold any number of conflicting ideas in my head, yet I’m also an absent minded feeb?

Take this morning for instance. I managed to lock my car keys in my little brum brum. How stupid can you get? I’ve lost a couple of precious hours slogging home and back to get the spares, time I can ill afford at the moment. Laugh all you want, it will be nothing compared to the abuse I’ve already endured. While we’re at it, why am I blogging instead of making up for lost time?

I want you to pay close attention, otherwise I will get cross.
    You are not an idiot.
We all have days like these. Just don’t panic. It will all be ok.
That said, is bloody funny though when it doesn’t happen to yourself.

hey NP – hopefully this will make you feel better:
i’ve locked my keys in my car 3 times in the last year and i still haven’t been arsed to get spares. you are at least smart and organised enough to get spares cut.*
and thankfully, you can get much more stupid than locking your keys in your car, otherwise we’d all be fucked.
*i have, however, become quite adept at breaking into my own car as a result of being so stupid 🙂

Is the underlining message of this post that we are all experiencing the slow destruction of concentration given we are continually bombarded with incidental communication messages and feelings of societal responsibility leading to emotions concentrated around frustration, isolation and disappointment?
Or is it that you’re daft?

Thanks Lauren, always good to know there’s someone worse off than you.
    Rob, I am, I know I am.
Angus, my car must be from Birmingham.
