That's why Nadal beats everyone for example, it's not just skill, it's the sheer pressure of knowing he won't let up, not for one second.

No matter how well your playing, no matter how hard your pummeling him. you know he's loving it, he's thanking you for the opportunity to bounce back and crush you, loving being pushed two steps back to take two steps forward.

    Pleasure NP. It’s a lovely article and there’s something brilliant in the quote from Michael Barry- finding the balance between pain and passion to find the sublime.
    When I play football, I often find that it takes a painful knock from someone to get me into a state of flow.
    It’s interesting to note how often reports of a Nadal injury come out only for him to destroy the opposition the next day.
